A weekend in New York: three days in an amazing city!

By the way: Selling umbrellas in the rain can be quite a good idea. And, believe it or not, it’s already Christmas time.

Currently, the last bits of sunshine are making their way through colorful treetops. See how much fun Jonah had in the Powder Valley, a nature park near St. Louis.

Two weeks ago, together with two friends, I went on a short trip to Chicago.
On our way we visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s Dana Thomas House in Springfield, IL. Further highlights were the Field Museum (including, of course, Sue), Lake Michigan, an amazing skyline, blues, tapas and lots of public art. Before we returned to St. Louis, we visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio in Oak Park.
